Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to.

We are upfront about the cost of our legal services. We committed to providing you fair, reasonable, and transparent legal fees.
We do not bill by the hour.
Our lawyers are flexible and accommodating. They are available for a telephone conference, an after hours’ face to face interview, or they will meet you during your lunch hour at a location close to where you work, saving you time and money.
The following is an idea of what you can expect to pay for our legal services:
For a consultation with one of our lawyers for legal advice on any particular matter we charge a fee of $260. If you decide to engage our services, this amount will be deducted from your final bill.
Plea of Guilty
For a plea of guilty in a local Magistrates Court (Southport or Brisbane) a starting point of $850.00.
This fee includes taking instructions, communicating with the prosecution service, reviewing all material, and preparation and appearance at sentence.
For more complicated sentences where a term of imprisonment is likely, or when you facing a number of charges, or where you have a lengthy criminal history, our fee will be higher as these sentences require more work.
For a bail application in any local Magistrates Court (Southport or Brisbane) a starting point of $900.00. This fee includes taking instructions, reviewing the Police material, drafting affidavits and any other court documents, and preparation for and appearance at the bail hearing.
Work licence applications and driver licence appeals
For applications for a work licence or a special hardship order a starting point of $900.00.
Summary and District Court trials, and pre-trial hearings
It is difficult to give a fee estimate for a summary or district court trial. Trials can involve a number of factors that could affect the cost of running your case. The nature and number of the charges, the complexity of the matter, and whether expert evidence is required, are some of the things that could impact on your legal fees. In situations where we need to challenge the admissibility of the evidence such as a search warrant or DNA evidence, or admissions made in a record of interview with Police, our fee will be higher.
We are however, committed to providing you with a realistic and reasonable quote before your matter commences. This way you have certainty from the very outset as to what can expect to pay.
Wills and Powers of Attorney:
An estate planning consultation is $260.
For a simple single will starting point of $650.
For a will with a testamentary trust a starting point of $1500.
Our fees will depend on the complexity of your financial circumstances, family structure, and testamentary wishes.
